Prenatal Visit

The prenatal visit happens anytime from 32-37 weeks. It eases your worries and sets you up for success from the very beginning!

  • Full risk and physical assessment
  • Discussion of any past breastfeeding issues or worries
  • Breastfeeding education 
  • Individualized feeding and troubleshooting plan for the first early days
  • Assistance with ordering insurance covered breast pump
  • Pump/Flange sizing and fitting

Postpartum Visit

This visit can be anytime in your breastfeeding journey and will include a thorough medical history, newborn oral evaluation, feeding observation, and follow-up plan with resources and any needed referrals. Feeding concerns may include nipple pain, slow weight gain, trouble latching, low milk supply, tethered oral tissues, clogged ducts/mastitis, complex diagnoses and more.

Additional follow-up visits may be scheduled to address:

  • ongoing weight gain/transfer issues
  • pumping and back-to-work plan
  • gentle weaning

Includes: 1 Prenatal visit and 1 Postpartum visit with 24/7 messaging access

What are the visit fees without insurance?

In-person Initial visit (Prenatal or Postpartum): $150

In-person Follow-up: $100

Telehealth Initial visit: $100

Are home visits available?

Home visits must be pre-approved based on availability per provider. Please text 260.782.4666 for availability.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Medicaid plans are not covered through our insurance processor at this time. We believe that lactation care is a human right and should be accessible to all. Please submit a contact form to inquire about sliding scale pricing.

What is an IBCLC?

IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Specialist. An IBCLC is a healthcare professional trained to help with breastfeeding and lactation. They can provide general education, assess latch, milk production, slow weight gain and even help with many more extensive breastfeeding issues that may present themselves.
